Curbside Recycling Ending Soon!
Beginning October 1, 2025, curbside recycling in Putnam County will be coming to a close. This decision was not made lightly, but it was determined to be the most financially responsible option moving forward due to low participation across the County.
As of October 1st, residents who wish to continue recycling will need to use one of the following drop-off locations:
At this time, only cardboard and plastics (#1–#7) will be accepted. Glass will no longer be accepted due to contamination concerns. Residents are encouraged to keep recyclables clean to ensure acceptance by end users.
